Excellent!!! My wife and I are not particularly talented musically, but we had so much fun! It really felt like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity...Kaoru-san was very patient and kind throughout the lesson, and is very knowledgeable about different shamisen styles and their traditional uses! I was honestly blown away by how effortlessly she switched between different techniques and musical Styles. She and her lovely mother showed us such warm hospitality, and their performances were so inspiring To see in person! We really enjoyed our experience, it was a major highlight of the trip for us.
